1912
Ganteb’s founded a small glove-making factory outside Lyon in 1912, but soon moved to St Junien, the leather gloves capital, in the countryside near Limoges.
Over the years Ganteb’s became skilled at making cut & sew type fabric gloves for brides and well-dressed ladies at a time when nobody dared venture outdoors without a pair of gloves!

1968
The more permissive society of the Sixties heralded a shift towards less formal accessories, and a new product line was created the fabric and knitted gloves, scarves and hats that were so fashionable in the sixties.

Ganteb’s launched its collections and its new logo.

Building on this new departure, Ganteb’s developed its design expertise, and started hiring stylists and designers to further secure its reputation.
Today two design studios produce a perfectly coordinated line of accessories that includes gloves, hats, scarves, stoles and tops.
These chic colourful fashion accessories are popular with women all over Europe, Asia and North America.
